CartSpan® costs the same whether you post 50 orders a month or 5,000. No tiers, no per-order fees, and the fastest schedule isn’t an upgrade.

- Hosted books cost the same. No surcharge for Summit Hosting or Ace Cloud Hosting. Note: Sage’s own Sage 50 Cloud hosting does not presently include support for any ecommerce integration add-on.
- Payout reconciliation for Shopify Payments on Sage 50.
- Amazon. Amazon orders and stock, at no extra charge.

- QuickBooks Pro or Premier: a read-only QODBC license from FLEXquarters, $149 per user a year (checked October 13, 2026). QuickBooks Enterprise includes it, and Sage 50 doesn’t need it.

Maintenance
What $299 a year covers.
- Every CartSpan update, including the builds for each new QuickBooks or Sage 50 year.
- Support if CartSpan misbehaves or has a bug, from the person who wrote it.
- Updates that keep up with store changes, such as Shopify’s quarterly API versions.
- Not covered: work after a crashed computer, lost data or a re-install. We quote it when you need it.
Renewal
Plainly.
- CartSpan reminds you 10 days before maintenance is due.
- Renewal is one click from inside CartSpan.
- If maintenance lapses, CartSpan stops until you renew.

Is there a per-order fee or an order limit?
No. One price covers any number of orders, stock updates and the fastest schedule.
Does hosted QuickBooks or Sage 50 cost more?
No. CartSpan costs the same on Summit Hosting, Ace Cloud Hosting or your own server. Sage’s own Sage 50 Cloud hosting does not presently include support for any ecommerce integration add-on (Sage knowledge base, checked October 13, 2026).
What does QuickBooks Pro or Premier need?

What happens if I stop paying maintenance?
CartSpan stops when maintenance lapses. You get a reminder 10 days before, and renewing from inside CartSpan starts it again.
Can I move CartSpan to a new computer?
Yes. The install has several parts, so you’ll likely want our help with the move. There’s no charge as long as the computer you’re moving from still works. If that computer has crashed, the move is quoted work, like any re-install.
