Choosing a host
Before you pick a host.
- Sage’s own Sage 50 Cloud hosting does not presently include support for any ecommerce integration add-on (Sage knowledge base, checked October 13, 2026).
- Rightworks doesn’t host CartSpan.
- CartSpan is a Windows program beside your books; on a hosted server it runs in your hosted session, which needs to stay open. After a restart, open CartSpan again and it picks up where it left off.

Does hosting cost more with CartSpan?
No. CartSpan costs the same on Summit Hosting, Ace Cloud Hosting or your own server.
Can I use Sage 50 Cloud?
Sage’s own Sage 50 Cloud hosting does not presently include support for any ecommerce integration add-on (Sage knowledge base, checked October 13, 2026). Third-party hosts let you run CartSpan beside Sage 50.
