Pricing

CartSpan is licensed software and is offered for $495 (US) initially with an annual maintenance of $99.  The annual maintenance includes upgrades supporting newer versions of Peachtree Accounting and unlimited post-installation support. See the 'Post-Installation Support' section below for details regarding what this covers.

 

Our Value Proposition

The licensing structure for CartSpan is very competitive relative to similar offerings in the market. In fact, the annual maintenance of other products is usually more than CartSpan's initial license and annual maintenance combined. Push past the 'starting price' of competitive systems (including those for QuickBooks) and you will find additional fees for installation, additional stores, phone conversations, and monthly service fees that quickly exceed the initial licensing of the product. All of these 'extras' are included with the price listed above.

CartSpan offers uncomplicated pricing that represents the lowest Total Cost of Ownership.
 
The driver of this strong value-proposition relates to the focused relationship of CartSpan to Peachtree Accounting.  Most other integration offerings are actually 'order management systems with significant overhead involved in maintaining functionality that overlaps Peachtree Accounting.  Additionally, these order managment systems ARE NOT accounting systems; Thus, with their implementation the large operational gap between your shopping cart and your accounting system remains. There is no functional overlap between the CartSpan product and your Peachtree Accounting system.

Another competitive advantage of the CartSpan product is its ability to update item price/quantity-on-hand/status in the shopping cart. Most other integration products will only download orders and lack this critical bi-directional capability required for conducting effective eCommerce.

Trial Support

CartSpan has been designed to use cart-specific preconfiguration files to minimize setup effort, and therefore, your subsequent total-cost-of-ownership. Post-Installation Support

The effective operation of any interface is dependent upon many factors often beyond the control of the interface provider. These include version changes in software (shopping cart & accounting) and the user's obligation to fully understand how the interface works for self-reliant troubleshooting of common exceptions. For this reason, post-installation support (included as part of the annual maintenance) is limited to issues relating to general use and operation. This support does not extend to incidences resulting from 3rd party software modifications that do not appropriately consider total system impact before they are implemented.

Note also that reinstallation assistance resulting from Hardware crashes (or other systemic issues) is not included in the 'free' tech-support advertised.
